From The Beginning

We are swiftly becoming an authority in the industry as My Home Comfort Solutions continues to provide custom solutions and complete projects with the quality customers expect.  I am Shawn Kelly, Owner and Founder of MyHCS.  This is my story.  I have spent my whole life around this industry following my father's guidance. In 1999, I began my career as a new work, plumber while still in high school.  I moved through many different positions in the company gaining experience along the way.  I graduated from Liberty University in 2008.  I pursued a career in sales consulting for the same company I was already with and continued to learn.  I assisted opening a new Home Energy Department and became BPI (Building Performance Institute) Certified.  Our focus was on reducing customers utility consumption.  I completed precise heatload calculations for HVAC replacements and studied duct design and maximizing HVAC efficiency.  I then transitioned into a Plumbing and Remodeling Consultant to assist with the growth of that department.  The company sold to an investment firm and I felt as if the personal touch was lost.  We separated ways which left the door open to this opportunity.   

I started My Home Comfort Solutions to be a local family-owned business that customers know and trust.  We want to ensure our customers feel like individual people and not just a number on a spreadsheet buried in this new AI infused world.  MyHCS has the resources to take on most remodeling or repair projects.  We stand firm on our company values to ensure integrity and quality on every project, everyday.  We then back each project with industry leading Guarantees to support our customers.
